Can I use Paypal PDT with RAP?

Answer: There is conflicting documentation with regard to Payment Data Transfer (PDT) and the Paypal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) feature.
There is no logical reason that the two features shouldn't work together, but we have also had mixed results from customers when using the two options together.
RAP depends on IPN (although you don't need to set the option in Paypal), so we recommend that you only use the PDT option if absolutely necessary.
